This is who I am

I am going to be 40 this year and I am over fifty pounds overweight. My desire is to run. I want to run the trails of my small town with my daughter. I want to run Niagara on the Lake with my daughter. I want to run on the Seawall of Galveston with my daughter. I am starting this blog because I cannot even run to the end of my block without being winded.

After searching high and low through running blogs, I couldn't find one that helped us fluffy gals. Don't get me wrong, there are many great blogs with great tips but few with tips for us. I hope you will find my blog, as well as the ones listed on my blog list, both helpful and inspirational.
